Guardian link to yet another story about a woman receiving rape threats, this time via a Facebook page, so I guess some of the vile arsepieces have used their real names. Is it too much to hope they get reported to police and charged? Isn't it about time these inadequate wankers are brought to book for this vileness?

Good luck to her, and well done for being honest about this, it still needs to be talked about. It being online threats against women, which need to be stopped.

Apologies if that's a bit ranty. Blush

Nobody should have to put up with threats from whatever source. Its hight time that the CPS and Police come down hard on the offenders.

She is so right. She should not accept it, neither should society. It

Aye Buffy, her wit and intelligence shine out, and she's absolutely right to speak out against this.

I agree Humphrey, society should not accept it.

It speaks volumes to me that she feels she has to justify her complaint by saying she gets more abuse than her bandmates and she isn't trying to change the world as though by defending herself she's overstepping the mark somehow. Her article should simply say "the people who post these comments are vile and I shouldn't have to face such disrespect on a daily basis."
