I'd have hoped my DDs wouldn't have to be feminists, but I think the bigger battles are only just beginning.

I think IWD misses the point of IWD.

There shouldn't be just one day a year when people discuss the prevalence of sexual violence, harassment and the like. It should be discussed every day in incredulous disbelief that it's actually still happening until it stops. We shouldn't need an IWD. We're a majority being treated like a minority.

Besides IWD allows the antis whine about there not being an international man's day.

I'm to much a very liberal conservative, (think American Democrat, with a bit of free market economics thrown in) to feel totally comfortable with IWDs very socialist roots.

Everyday should be respect for everyone day, regardless of gender, race or sexual orientation day.

Yes!! although, I have had fun telling the whaddaboutdamenz-ers that International Mens Day is on the 19th November. It ties in with Movember and promotes male role models, mens health such as prostate cancer and male breast cancer, and male contributions to childcare and gender equality. If they don't know about it, that's not the fault of Nasty Feminists.

I saw a pink bus covered in lipstick kisses promoting IWD. Heigh ho!

I got sent pictures of muscley women with foreign words superimposed over the top from different parts of the world. And feminist graffiti photos. They were all great!
