How to be a good and happy housewife article

'The good housewife needs to maintain a good appearance and do not repeat the mistakes of some women who after the marriage lose their attraction.'

Actually just checked my emails (I emailed complaining about it too) and he's apologised and said it would be removed immediately. Amazingly fast response, quite impressed actually.

Most of the key messages are here, BigGiantCow.

  1. Do a LOT of cleaning. I mean all-freakin-day cleaning.
  2. Pay close attention to your appearance (I guess all that cleaning should help keep you fit).
  3. Learn to cook. It's very easy, you can find out how on YouTube.
  4. Your husband (or indeed female partner, although the article generalises it to husband) has the right to expect perfection but may be magnanimous enough to allow a lower standard in certain circumstances, even offering to help out to ensure the house is immaculate.
  5. Children cause mess. This is about the only mention they get in the article so presumably the message would be: ideally don't have them if you want to be the perfect housewife.
  6. Be good at shagging.
  7. You may have a hobby. You should use it planning things for other people, though.
  8. Enjoy.
