How would you answer that question is as few words as possible? I know there is the ever obvious 'Wanting equal rights for women as men in society' which essentially in my uneducated view, is what it seems.

But what is feminism to you?

New to Feminist boards and I want to know if there is a typical view or many differing.

Oh, I didn't mean act lke it in the sense of putting on an act I mean that everyone should know deep down in their bones that women and men and men and women are of equal importance and so behaving as if they are should come naturally. And anyone who talked or behaved as if one was more important than the other would be looked upon with a Hmm face and maybe a Confused face and a general air of "what did you just say?"

Oh for sure Triallian I agree, but that book plus getting involved in the Dorries' amendment debate here really woke something up in me.
