Very true about Ben 10 too.

Odd isn't it.

Sorry but I think Johnny Test is awful. It's on our 'not allowed to be on when we are in the room' list. Ben 10 wasn't very good either, but thankfully my two have grown out of that one. I'm not sure however that any of the rubbish my children watch passes any gender stereotyping test. They seem to enjoy utter drivel mostly.

Slightly off-topic, but I lurve the Studio Ghibli films and the way they are so gender-neutral.

'Totoro' is one of my favourite films. We don't watch too much TV (more often DVDs) but DD loves 'Arthur' so we ration it a bit. Haven't seen the stuff mentioned here at all.

Nina and the neurons has my vote

Oh yes Studio Ghibli films are both great and have some really strong and interesting female characters. Very rewatchable (especially Totoro ))
