As is being argued on a FB thread I'm in at the moment?

I've said it's because it's nearly always about men using their physical power to oppress/control women...but two people are disagreeing with me (but not actually saying why Hmm).

Reporting figures v relevant, and stats for how many of these offences are actually happening irrespective of whether they're reported IYSWIM
