Just that, as Zoe don't do one anymore. I just want one of those things you stick on your arm and leave it there. I want to able to monitor my glucose spikes and crashes.

Have Zoe stopped doing them? More money to be made from supplements and weight loss/food tracking apps I guess.

I use a Freestyle Libre 2 plus which costs around €70 for 15 days, it's pretty straightforward to use. I'm diabetic though, I don't know if it's different to the type that a non-diabetic would use.

Are you diabetic?

Libre Freestyle

nico works for me too

zoe didn’t ever do anything with the blood glucose, they just used them as a way to make the brand look trendy! You had to use a separate app completely from Libre to monitor your glucose. It was all really about sending them a poo in a box, which you can still do. I knew it was time to give up on Zoe once they started flogging expensive seeds

Love my Dexcom but am diabetic .

Really helps me keep tabs of my blood glucose.

Can I ask why you need to measure your sugar levels if not diabetic? What range of numbers do you get? I'm assuming 4 to 8 for a non diabetic.

I have a Freestyle Libre 2+ on prescription. It is ok but gives some false hypo readings, especially in the two days after you apply a device. The adhesive isn't particularly good on it either.

InfoSecInTheCity · 08/06/2026 22:31

I use the freestyle Libre 2 but am T2 diabetic. @Gingerkittykat I put mine on and then actually activate it 24 hours later, that gives it time to settle and seems to solve the first 24 hr lows issue. I also buy the funky patterned adhesive patches to cover it so it stays put and because I refuse to accept I’m a grown up and like having skull patches or cute little bees or whatever 😀

I’m not diabetic. I’ve used a Freestyle Libre and found it brilliant in understanding how different foods affect me. It’s really changed my way of eating. I found I only needed it for a month. @Gingerkittykat i found I can only keep mine between 4 and 8 by avoiding sugar and most starchy stuff. Really illuminating.

Yes this is the reason. I'm a sugar addict and keep feeling awful so I need to see how my body is reacting to make me ditch the sugar! Thank you I will look into Freestyle Libre.
