I dont know if anyone heard Jeremy Vine - BBC2 , yesterday -30/3?

Ovarian cancer - the silent killer

Only its not

They had a few stories in there, all telling the same story, middle aged women, having water works problems - stress incontenece, or just plain urgency . Then appetite away with the faeries, getting half way through a meal and feeling full , even nausea

And bloating

One woman rang in and said by time her mum thought enough was enough, had FIVE DAYS

My own mother had three weeks

Women who just thought urgency and peeing oneself was just a symptom of getting older and didnt get to the GP ( or in my mothers case, it was ignored as she was already living with bladder cancer and it was all put down to that )

Dont let it slide, get it checked

Wetting ourselves and needing the loo within seconds is not normal , so before you reach for the Tena , go see your GP

I’m so sorry for your loss and appreciate you sharing this important message. It’s vital to listen to our bodies and get checked early. Thank you for raising awareness and encouraging others to act.
