Supplements for libido and others

Hi,

I’ve been sucked into a instagram targeted ads hole and just looking for some personal recommendations before I spend a small fortune on supplements.

I’m struggling with mood swings, very low libido and night sweats.

I’m late 30s, 2 young kids and a stressful job so I know a lot of my ‘symptoms’ can probably be ascribed to that, but I would desperately like to see an improvement in the 3 areas above and I am happy to spend some money on it.

I’ve recently started reformer Pilates and have lost weight (using a GLP1, although my symptoms all pre-date starting using that). I take a general multivitamin.

Has anyone used anything they would recommend??

I’d say your symptoms sound like peri menopause. I’d be seeing the GP

I’ve been trying free soul. I’m similar minus the weight loss. I also have had th coil fitted which is helping the mood swings but I’m also randomly bleeding which is not helping labido

@PersephoneParlormaidwhat would the GP actually do though? I’ve considered it might be peri-menopause and googled it but from what I’ve read it’s only severe menopause they would look at medicating

As PP said, could be peri menopause.
Google the symptoms and tick off the ones you have, then make a Dr appointment to discuss the options.

See your GP and tell them your symptoms indicate peri, especially the night sweats. The guidelines are that Dr's can prescribe hrt on symptoms alone, no need for blood tests as hormones fluctuate at this time. And certainly no need to wait until your symtoms of menopause are severe!
