Want to invest in a great shampoo

Likely in the wrong ‘Topic’ but I am turning 40 soon and I have decided this year will be the year I invest in myself!

So with that in mind I am looking for a great shampoo/conditioner, salon style! I have pretty thin hair and it’s just a bit dull, it never looks that different. I did buy a style hairdryer which I like but I would love more volume and shine.

Any ideas? thank you!

Get this moved to Style and Beauty. Lots of people to help over there

I’d honestly keep it really simple a good volumizing shampoo + lightweight conditioner can already make a big difference for thin hair. Try to apply conditioner mostly on the ends so it doesn’t weigh the roots down.
You could also add a weekly home hair mask for shine. Something simple like aloe vera + a little coconut oil + amla powder works really well for dull hair. Leave it on for about 30 minutes before washing.
Keeping the routine minimal has actually helped my hair look fuller and healthier.

I agree with DivyaPatil, a volumising shampoo what about herbal essences orange volume shampoo? And a bit of coconut oil or olive oil aloe Vera on hair every so often. Keep hair routine minimal, don’t wash or brush too much or use too much hairdryer or heat and this will be best for thin hair.

There’s a thread recently on the disappointment of expensive shampoos, reskin, kerastese, matrix and wow haven’t done anything particularly standout for my hair. I like herbal essence and use garnier oats when head is sore but apart from that I haven’t really found a shampoo worth the price
