mild prolapse - physio effective?

Have just seen GP who diagnosed a small prolapse between bladder/vagina. Only visible when I cough. She suggests physio as first line treatment, is this effective and if I were to go private (as NHS physio waiting lists are massive), what should I be looking for?

I had this. I was at that point a bit over weight and my consultant advised me to try to lose a bit of weight and I did. It actually made it so much better. I paid privately for some physio and it’s been fine with proper exercises ever since.

Thank you. I have lost a bit of weight but more to go. Also have a private physio appointment booked. Glad to hear its not got worse, the last thing I want is surgery.

Mine is too far gone for physio to make an impact and not bad enough for surgery. Welcome to the world of Tena lady. In my experience the NHS is not in the slightest bit interested in the millions of women with bladder issues. I hope you have better luck than me.
