Hi,
If you take supplements, what do you recommend?
I’ve been taking a plethora of different supplements and want to take just one supplement that actually makes a difference.
For reference, I’m 63, had a DCIS removed two years ago, have osteoporosis which I take medication for and Hashimotos which I also take medication for. I still get hot flushes daily which really get me down.
My diet isn’t too bad I think and I walk and swim quite regularly.
I enjoy (really enjoy!) white wine too!
I’d really appreciate your tried and tested recommendations if you do take supplements.
Thanks everyone in advance.
Wishing you all a healthy 2026. 😊

I don’t like one fits all supplements, you get a bit of a lot of things.
Personally I take a good quality omega 3 for joints, magnesium glycinate for sleep, vitamin B complex for energy and D3 with K2 for bones.
Have you ever considered HRT for the flushes, along with other health benefits?

I recommend Doctor Seaweed supplements. I take their Menopause supplement and Collagen powder. I found its really helped minimise my hot flushes and fatigue and the Collagen has helped with the beauty side to keep me feeling young!

HRT is not allowed if you have had breast cancer unfortunately. Many of us are given estrogen suppressants for 5 or 10 years, even more unfortunately.
