PCOS? Blood test results

Just looking for someone to help interpret my blood test results. I went to the GP earlier this week to discuss the possibility of PCOS and she referred me for a scan and I had a blood test. I've struggled with acne on and off for a long time, both on my face and back (not severe, but definitely noticeable) and have started getting a few black facial hairs. Currently on the implant (have been for 3.5 years) and as a result haven't had a period for over a year, however prior to getting the implant my periods were quite irregular and always have been (cycle lengths were seemingly random).

Anyway, I received the blood test results on the NHS app today, which were seemingly normal. However, there's just a couple things I'm not sure about. I cannot see the results for 'FSH LH' or 'Oestradiol', which were listed on the blood test form. Both of these I would assume are quite important when testing for PCOS, so I'm not sure whether that suggests they came back as out of the normal range and they will ring me, or whether they have somehow been missed...

Also the result for 'serum sex hormone binding glob' came back as 43 nMol/L which is within the normal range listed as 32-128, although seems to me to be at the lower end of normal.

I of course know the obvious answer is to ring them, and I most likely will if I don't hear anything more in the next few days, but in the meantime just wondered if anyone had any experience that could enlighten me!

LH, FSH and estrodiol levels cannot be tested properly whilst you are on any form of contraception. That is likely why those levels are not recorded. Accurate results can be recorded when you are not on any form of contraception.

I would in any case contact them re your results. Given that your periods were irregular prior to the implant PCOS is a possible cause.

Thank you! I will raise this with my GP!
