Green Discharge & Itching - NO STIs PLEASE HELP!

Really appreciate any advice on this! Sorry it’s so long..
I have had green discharge and itching on and off (more on than off) for 5 years since my first pregnancy. The only time I haven’t had it is was I was put on a long course of fluconazole. I have asked doctor for this again and because all results come back negative for thrush & BV they have declined.
I have done multiple STI tests and are all negative.

GP has said they have exceeded the amount they can help and have put in a referral to Gynaecology which could be up to 18months.

Is it worth going private? It is massively affecting my mental health, my anxiety is through the roof and I can’t bring myself to even think about having sex which has caused a few issues in my relationship. Every time I go to the bathroom I want to cry, I feel so horrible about myself.

I must Google my symptoms at least once or twice a day in the hopes something new pops up, I’m drained with it now..

If anyone has been through anything similar if really appreciate any advice :)

Ffs ask your gp. You'll get tts if you're not proactive. Green = poisonous infection potentially.

She clearly stated the gp has said there’s nothing they can do and referred her to gynaecology?

Did you read the op at all?

op no personal advice but I have read that GUM clinics are better for this stuff and are more proactive at dealing with it. I know you don’t have an STI but worth trying.

FFS, at least read the full OP before commenting.

OP, It's definitely worth contacting your local sexual health clinic. Ours is really good.

Hi @SMEE6 - if you can afford it a test with a company called Digital Microbiology might shed some light. NHS test are rubbish.

I would determine where the nearest GUM/sexual health clinic to you is and head there for further testing.

That sounds very much like a Trichomoniasis infection - itchy, green discharge, recurring - which can be passed back and forth between partners. Your partner could be asymptomatic, as a large proportion of people infected are. Both of you would need to be treated simultaneously. It's a simple tablet treatment.

Hi, do you think it could fail to show on the multiple STI tests? I know I was definitely tested for that.
Thank you for you response :)

You could look up aerobic vaginitis and see if your symptoms fit with this XXX
