Niggling twinge deep in pelvis for weeks.

I need answers :(
im getting this really irritating niggling in my pelvis, it feels pretty deep inside, almost like it’s in the very top of my vagina but I can feel it through my pelvis, sort of deep behind my c section scar.

I have a heavy feeling, almost like a dull period cramp with it and it also makes me feel like I have trapped wind, but constant for weeks. The niggling is little twinges throughout the day, can be every couple minutes to ever couple hours. Doesn’t seem to be worse with movement ect just random.

I recently went to hospital with it as I was also have pain a little high up on the right and they suspected appendicitis, but they did a CT scan and said nothing showed up except a fecalith which apparently are common on CT scans and nothing else looks out of the ordinary.

they literally said they don’t know what’s causing my pain and now I’m just kind of wondering where I go next. GP mentioned possible adhesions. But how do I know either way? And when should I expect it to end. I’m so frustrated because it’s not even painful so when they ask ‘have you taken painkillers” I don’t really need to, the sharpness is so fast that it’s not like I’m ’in pain’ 😫 it’s just an uncomfortable and annoying feeling.

plewse tell me someone else have experienced this.

Hi there, I haven't experienced this or gone through what you have but my best bet would be to get a referral to see a gynaecologist who is best placed to carry out the necessary tests to diagnose your symptoms. Perhaps an internal ultrasound might show something or an MRI of the pelvis? I would try to push hard for that and exaggerate the symptoms if you have to, to get the diagnostics you need for your own reassurance. Best of luck and hope you feel better soon 🙏🏼

What did your GP say? You don't meet the criteria for a referral to secondary care yet, the GP needs to try some meds and do some inital investigation first. If a CT didn't find anything, perhaps doing a pelvic ultrasound might allow a closer look at that area.

Do you have any other symtpoms? If it's not direct pain, that's a good sign as it doesn't sound serious. If watch it and see your GP, it might be some trapped gas, bloating, a cyst perhaps, if you feel it more in your vagina perhaps go to your local sexual health clinic, often they have sexual health consultants there so it can be good to see someone with expertise. They tend to also have same day appointments as well.
