Kegels

I read a thread on here last week about something unrelated (orgasm) and people suggesting the above.

i went to a concert Friday, used the bathroom regularly but still couldn’t jump up and down and just ended up leaking excessively

can any one suggest somewhere to find out about kegel? Is it the same as pelvic floor exercise.
and how do I go about improving mine and keeping up with a regular schedule

thanks

NHS squeezy app is a very good place to start, followed by a proper women's pelvic physio if you can afford it

NHS squeezy app. Has a timer and prompts so you do the long and the short.

If you’re having issues, and it’s in your budget get a specialist private physio appointment. It’s a really, really good use of money. They’ll get their fingers inside you and check your technique on your squeezes and coach you through any adjustments. Can also give you tailored more wider body exercises. Comparable to what many spend on haircuts and a much better investment in yourself.

I don't get on so well with the Squeezy app as I don't get reminders after I miss one. I have been much better with @ femalephysioco on Instagram after she popped up on my feed. I prefer it as you never know what is coming as it is different on each reel. As she is an expert I aslo believe the different workouts she posts are better than the repetitive nature of Squeezy.
