I couldn’t find a topic for feet but the whole family has developed dry bumps on our feet not itchy or painful just weird that they all look the same idk if it’s athletes foot or a skin infection don’t really want to bother the doctor with it If it’s nothing serious

They look like verrucas.

Toemonster · 10/04/2025 23:25

DH thought they could be verrucas but they don’t have any black spots/ dots under the skin

Neither did the huge one I had for well over a decade which is why I didn’t think it was a verruca. Until I picked at it one day and developed a verucca under my thumb nail . It soon turned black when I tried to treat it ,

Ahsheeit · 11/04/2025 06:04

Yep, verrucas.

Toemonster · 11/04/2025 06:18

Are they easy to get rid of ?

Freeze dry treatment at GP

sameshizz · 11/04/2025 06:25

hopefully if you haven’t had then too long it will be easier but I’m not going to lie they can be very hard to treat . Search for threads on here for advice

I tried all sorts. I was on the verge of giving up but after getting a HPV positive smear result I went on a huge vitamin intake regime after doing some research on what might help get rid of HPV . Amazingly my verrucas vanished but unfortunately I still get dodgy smear results . Glad I got rid of those bloody things though especially the one on my thumb .

Veruccas. Our GP wont treat anymore. Lots of things you can buy online of differing strengths to try and get rid of them

It could be dryness or a mild infection, and shoes might play a role if they trap moisture or cause friction. Try wearing clean, breathable shoes and check with a doctor to be sure.
