Pmdd or Peri?

Wondering what these symptoms sounds like:

-Awful depression and anxiety for 2-3 days before period. Find it difficult to function. Flicks iff like a switch when period arrives.

  • Periods closer together and lighter than ever before
  • Did have frequent utis (maybe unrelated)
  • Vaginal dryness week before period (might be normal, don't remember this?)

Going on about a year now post giving birth. Would welcome any advice or recommendations for a consult.

The shorter cycles and sleep disturbance are indicators of lowering progesterone OP, with the increased UTIs and urination are connected to a drop in oestrogen, so it does sound like peri. If you're under 45 you can ask for oestradiol and FSH tests via your GP. I've attached a bit more info here:

Does it indicate peri if sleep disturbances and increased urination are only certain times of month? I got my bloods done progesterone 0.45 and eostrodial 255, testosterone .5 and prolactin 200. Ive been to the gp and was just offered contraceptives.
