Breastfeeding with one breast

Well not one breast but one functioning breast.

Short story is I have one child that I fed for 3+ years so it's a big deal for me to be able to breastfeed.
I have to have an operation to remove all the milk ducts on one side which means I will not be able to breastfeed from that breast. I will still have the other side fully functioning.
I'm not done having kids and would like to breastfeed if I do.
Has anyone on here fed with just one breast full time? Were there any problems? I've heard one side could become larger than the other is this a permanent change or just while feeding?

Any advice or experience welcome, thanks 🙏🏻

I'm feeding off one breast after cancer surgery - ds is only 4 months but all going fine so far! I am a bit lopsided but hoping they'll even out again in time.

A friend of mine did this due to issues with one breast.
Her baby throve. even when feeding she didn't look particularly uneven, and she looked fine in a swimsuit afterwards - not unbalanced or anything at all.

I did it with a baby who was determined to only use one breast. I was lopsided for a while but it did settle down.

One of the mums at a BF support group I used to go to was doing this! She was on her 3rd baby, all 3 times she had produced colostrum from both breasts initially and then the milk had only come in on the right hand side so she just fed from that side. All 3 babies were EBF until 6 months then continued until around 18 months. So it's definitely possible.
