Cycle changes

Hi all,
I wonder if anybody could give me a bit of advice or share experiences.
I am soon to be 34 and as far back as I can remember my periods have been like clockwork (when not on birth control)- 28-29 days.
Even after I had my daughter (just before I turned 31), they went right back to normal a couple of months after she was born.
Fast forward to this year and the cycle before last was 35 days. Out of nowhere. I was not pregnant (had only had protected sex but did many a test to confirm it hadn't failed). The following month was 29 days as usual. This cycle I am on day 35 today and have a bit of light brown discharge which I guess means it will start in the next day or so just based on what's a normal precursor for me. Again, I have done many a pregnancy test- I am not and have not been pregnant this cycle.
There have been no major changes in my life, I have not dramatically gained or lost weight or anything like that.
I am freaking myself out that I am entering early menopause. I am aware this may sound extreme, but I just have no idea why my cycle is so off and it's really upsetting me.
I know a 'normal' cycle is 21-35 days so I don't suspect my GP would be interested if I made an appointment. Does anybody have any advice or comments please?
And please be kind, I am very anxious about this 😔 thank you xx

Hi just replying to help bump
I'm 34 and my youngest is 18m. My cycles have become shorter this year, they're now 25-26 days where they were always 28/29.
I also feel worried I'm already in perimenopause but feel I can't really go to GP as still within normal range. I have lots of new hormonal symptoms through my cycle too which were not typical for me before and tbh I feel very down about the whole thing, but feel GP will just say it's normal age related changes.
Solidarity!

@AmberBeaker hi thank you for your reply and for sharing your experience. It's hard isn't it, we know it is different for us but still technically 'normal'. I am thinking about maybe asking to have my thyroid checked as read that could be a cause. No history of under/overactive thyroid though. Solidarity to you too x

Yes I've been wondering about thyroid too, and also a hormone imbalance
I've told myself if I have another short cycle this month and a lot of hormonal symptoms I'll go to my doc for some bloods.
Hope you get some more answers and advice here.

Hi there I know this is an old thread but I was wondering whether you ever got this investigated?
