Strange skin changes

Hello

I am wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this.

Back in June, I developed a tender spot on the skin of my left breast. Over the course of a week, it grew significantly along with peeling skin, etc. (I have attached a photo of what it looked like at its worst and what it looks like today)
I looked and felt like a boil. No head appeared on said boil.

I called the doctor, who said it was a possible infection and prescribed me some antibiotics. This seemed to help it develop a head. It then burst (sorry, I know it is gross)

Fast forward another month, and it is still there. It has shrunk drastically, but still very red. Even though it ruptured, it still feels like a hard lump. I am also experiencing stabbing pains in the left breast.

Has anyone experienced anything like this ?

Obviously, I am concerned about immflamitory breast cancer at this stage as apparently a red spot resembling a bite or a boil can be a possible, albeit rare symptom.

For a couple of years now, my underarm has always felt swollen and painful.

I have arranged another doctors appointment but they can't see me until the end of September :(

Photos are a bit graphic, sorry. It's just to give the reader an idea of what it looks like and if anyone has any experience.

Trying not to worry.

Have you told them that you have a lump in your breast, and they still can’t see you until the end of the month?

I have boils very similar to this on my stomach. I saw a dermatologist for something else, and he said they are just boils that are a bit unusual and not to worry about them.
However, having gone through breast cancer two years ago, please please phone your GP's surgery again, and stay on the phone until they give you an emergency appointment. I was seen by a consultant within two weeks, let alone a GP. Good luck

I have 😥 when all of this first started. Before I got antibiotics, i had to wait almost two weeks to get a phone appointment. They "had no doctors available at the moment, so no one can have an appointment." That was honestly what the receptionists reply was.
It is very scary, and I don't see why this is allowed to carry on. I know the nhs is struggling....but god it is ridiculous.

Thank you for your reassurance 🙏 if this was located anywhere else, I wouldn't be as worried. But because it's on the breast, I'm so nervous.
I will definitely phone them again. I've had no one except a pharmacist look at it :(
I'm sorry to hear you went through breast cancer :( I do hope you are all clear now ? 💗

Hi, yes, I had a lumpectomy and radiotherapy. I had the all clear but still have to take hormone tablets for 5,7,10 years or life, depending on your mammogram results.
You have a mammogram hyrdfffbgj
