Spotty looking rash between breasts

imakardashian · 29/08/2024 18:48

Hi all! New to this site. I am a young mum - unfortunately blessed with H size boobs (genetic) - and almost always have intertrigo type rash between them. This bugs me for sure but in the last few days I’ve developed these spots between them too! They look like your typical white heads like you’d get on your face, but they have no pus in them, you can’t pop them and they are actually more like blisters but dry ones.
Has anyone suffered with these?
Thank you in advance 🙏🏼

Included some pics of my usual intertrigo and then some of the newer developments.

Have you been to your GP or had a swap taken?

Cantfindthewordsddstruggling · 29/08/2024 18:51

The last 2 photos op look horrifically painful. Plz contact your general practice and see if you can get an appt asap.

biscuitcat · 29/08/2024 18:56

Oh that looks so sore, you poor thing. I definitely agree, see your GP if you can as hopefully they'll be able to help. I'm sure you do anyway, but I'd suggest making sure your bras are super clean and natural fabrics if possible.

I also know it's quite common to get fungal rashes under big boobs, and antifungals like Canesten can help - but possibly you'll need something a bit stronger initially to get on top of it, then use that to keep everything looking and feeling healthy.

Mumof1andacat · 29/08/2024 18:57

Looks like a fungal type rash.
You need to see your gp

Nannyfannybanny · 29/08/2024 18:59

Are they sore? I get a sweat rash, some times thrush, that is sore, I get it in my naval as well...canestan cream. I have white bumps that sounds like yours. I was under a dermatology consultant last year, about something else, asked her to have a look. She said they were warts and offered to remove them with liquid nitrogen. But I had had a large skin cancer removed from my chest and a big wart from my arm, both of which I knew would be painful later, and I would have a job getting comfortable in bed so I declined

they are pretty sore and i have had canesten, hydrocortisone, terbinafine and daktacort for them. daktacort works best for me but it only works for a couple days with cetraben inbetween before it comes back and i have to use the daktacort again. so it’s just a cycle 😌 i’ve been to the GP many times and they just said it’s because of the size of my boobs. i’ve also been to the breast clinic for a reduction but there’s such a long wait!
i have no idea what these new spots are though and can’t find any pictures on google so god knows where they’ve come from or what they are 🤔 no new body creams or washes either and i shower every night, change my bra every night or every 2 when they’re not flared up.

thanks so much for your helpful comments!

my boobs are very sore but the spots aren’t! i’m so sorry to hear about all that, sounds like a lot 😣 by warts do you mean like skin tags? the skin comes off on mine and there’s no lump underneath so i wouldn’t say they’re anything like warts really! more like spots but without the pus if that makes sense?
thank you for sharing your story 🤍

The spots look like the eczema spots my step daughter used to have. They would come up like white heads but no puss then dry out like dry skin or they would come out like blisters. She also used to get them where it was most sweaty, behind her knees, insides her elbows and her armpits. So would make sense that it is in the centre of your boobs cause it would get sweaty there. I would absolutely speak to the gp and perhaps ask for a referral to dermatology to see if they can do more.

MushMonster · 29/08/2024 20:04

100% GP.
It looks like a yeast infection, which should go by keeping the area dry and aired and canesten cream. Also, once gone, tea tream cream is rwally good to keep it away.
But the GP will be the one to check properly and prescribe accordingly.

I actually wonder if this is inverse psoriasis? I have psoriasis and it presents like this around my (hefty) boobs - will add a photo.

I developed it after my 2nd child, apparently hormonal changes can make you more vulnerable to it - anything like that relevant for you OP?

Ask for a referral to a dermatologist OP.
Ii have GG bust and had similar last year. Was prescribed anti fungal and then antibiotics by GP even though never got a face to face appointment 🙄. Assumed it was fungal and tried really hard to keep it dry with powder and medicated talc.

Turns out it’s psoriasis and it went berserk and was all over me in a really awful flare up. Instead of keeping dry I should have been slathering with E45 to keep it hydrated but still protect from sweat. Psoriasis presents totally differently in enclosed skin like under bust or groin.

Anyway the moral is we don’t know and some of the treatments you could be making it worse. Maybe try E45 as it’s so innocuous though?

Yes - I’m 50 and had large breasts for a long time with no probe - excess sweating from menopause started my psoriasis off, so hormones do change your body quite a lot.
you may wait a long time for a dermatologist at the moment, and if it is psoriasis you can’t put the usual steroids on skin folds that are enclosed. I’d definitely get E45 on it

Mumof1andacat · 29/08/2024 22:07

I would find an independent bra fitter/shop to make sure your getting the best support from a bra. As an h cup myself, it's totally worth it.

Nannyfannybanny · 31/08/2024 09:58

I had had a few warts on my face, nothing like the white spots in-between my boobs. Endo might be able to help. I got fed up with over a year lady garden issues, and getting nurse practitioner phone appointments with 5)6 weeks wait, I was in agony. I did eventually get a 2 week cancer pathway with gynae, who prescribed antibacterial wash. I used it once it burned, I was sitting in a saline bath in the middle of the night crying. I spent £250 seeing a private dermatologist, who then got various steroid creams, washes prescribed by GP. I could wait any longer, I couldn't walk,or wear anything from the waist down. Sorry to hijack your thread with this. I'm a g cup, with a size 10,5 ft body,I know how it is. You're told keep the area clean dry, exposed to the air, BUT wear a bra night and day for support. I was told by the dermatologist that most things widely used, make it worse. E45, sudocreme, aquas cream tubs for washing and moisturising. Hope you get it sorted.
