How to get periods back - PCOS

I am 32 and have PCOS. I do not ovulate or have any have periods atall (masked by being on the pill for many years). This is my only symptom - I have nothing else typical of PCOS (my ovaries on scans have - sometimes - been described as “polycystic in nature” that’s about it.)

I am a healthy BMI of 23 and I would say I have a fairly normal nothing out of the ordinary diet, I’ve been particularly trying to cut down sugar.

Long story short but TTC is not a concern as such - incredibly and forever blessed to have had twins from IVF that we had due to partners severe sperm issues. I just want to ovulate again and get a cycle back - even an irregular one - just something! We’ve both agreed we’d never go through IVF again, but if something ever happened one day naturally, that would be wonderful. But of course - to give even just the smallest chance for that ever to happen - I need some sort of ovulation. Plus I’ve read up on the increased risks of womb cancer associated with having no periods. And I just don’t think it’s good to never have them atall hormone wise surely.

There’s so many supplements suggested online and things to try - I just don’t know what would be best for my situation. I’ve been taking Myo- inosotal for 3 months now but nothing.

When i was first diagnosed, my endocrinologist said if i had fewer than 3 periods a year, he would prescribe me a drug to induce a period to reduce the cancer risks. I dont have the name but Dr Google might have some suggestions. I didnt need it as i started metformin to bring back my periods, then ttc and pregnancy / babies followed, but perhaps this is something to explore if you are open to a pharmaceutical route? No harm in keeping taking inositol in the meantime.
