Pelvic Pain from pregnancy

Hello,

I had my baby over two years ago. I suffered from SPD and to this day I still have pain. I feel that my pelvis is out of alignment as I have a slight niggly pain just at the sacroiliac joint area.
I'm wondering if anyone has had similar pain and went to visit a chiropractor or osteopath?
Could you please advise if this helped and did you need more that one treatment? Was it expensive?

Thank you in advance xx

Yes this is one of the consequences of pregnancy. I have experienced similar. I found that chiropractor, massage and physio and gentle pilates or yoga all helped. Actually just being active, going for walks also helps and warm baths.
It's not a quick fix.

I saw an osteopath for about a year post birth and the pain was almost entirely gone by the end (bar the odd niggle after a very long drive or 15,000 steps etc). I went weekly!

What also helped was doing the right exercises and stretches, and really building up my core strength. And sitting on one of those donut cushions for a long while!

It's horrible so I really sympathise - if you can't find an osteo who has specific experience with PGP/SPD they can work wonders.

*can find.

And mine was £70 a session so not cheap but that's also central London pricing.
