Supplements/vitamin routine - your advice!

I am barrelling towards my mid 40s and highly aware that a good and regular dose of vitamins and supplements will likely do no harm, and most likely be very helpful. However my kitchen is littered with half boxes of vitamins where I started a routine and then after five days forget/can’t be bothered to continue.

so - how do you make sure you’re taking vitamins regularly and what are your tips for a routine? Prep?

thank you!

I have a medication box (days of the week) and it's part of my routine that when I'm making my first coffee I take my vitamins.

I started about 3 months ago after getting a bit more into weight lifting and also trying to alleviate so aches and pains I’d been getting. It may be a placebo but I have seen a huge reduction in DOMs after training and certainly in the morning after sleep (we’d been considering a new mattress). I have them in a nice wicker basket next to my breakfast cereal (oats for me) so I just get the box out and get them ready with my water/tea.
5g creatine in my tea
tumeric (1 capsule)
omega 3 fish oil (2 capsules)
vitamin D3 + K2
im currently also taking HCL as I’m in a calorie deficit and trying to loose body fat
on training days I take electrolytes in my drink

Sounds a lot when I write it down but it’s just an easy habit I’ve gotten into each morning.

Hope that’s helpful!

Take WellWoman multi vit / Vitamin C / Vit D after breakfast every day. Make it part of your routine.

Drink plenty of water, cut out or heavily reduce alcohol intake, stop smoking / vaping. Eat a balanced diet, get plenty of sleep.

I’ve always struggled to remember, like you. I don’t eat breakfast anymore (IF, works well for me), so I’ve started putting my supplements in my work lunch bag. I’m there for lunch 5 days out of 7, so it makes sense! It’s now an easy part of my work day: eat lunch, followed by supplements.
I’m also trying gummies rather than capsules etc.
However, I recently had a full check by the nurse - bloods and urine - and all levels were 10/10, even as a vegan who wondered if my B12 might be low. This was before I started any supplements. So don’t beat yourself up about forgetting.

I keep them in the cupboard beside the mugs. Having said that I only take Vit D, omega 3 and magnesium at night. I use the Viridian brand.,

I take vitamin C, omega 3, B vitamins, ashwadangra, magnesium with zinc, and ginseng (when I'm tired). I keep them by my bed so they're right there when I wake up.

Creatine in my water in as morning and a B12 tablet, currently deficient. Aside from that I just try to eat lots of fruit, veg, protein and iron rich foods. I'm 44 but no signs of peri or menopause yet so I'm assuming that may change.
