Visible blood in wee- positive stories

Can anyone help as my anxiety is sky high. I've found blood in my urine when wiping on three occasions over past 6 weeks. Doctors originally treated me with antibiotics as I also had mild pressure/ mild burning when I wee. Nothing painful. I had three separate urine screenings and no uti was found. No blood was found in the samples either which I find odd. I've also been experiencing vaginal discomfort, some itchiness and slight burning there. Negative bv and thrush tests. Doctor did a physical examination and said I had vaginal dryness. I'm 44 and think lots of my symptoms could be peri menopause as I getting night sweats, anxiety episodes and soreness and dryness. BUT does this link at all to the bleeding on urination episodes? I've booked a private urologist on Tuesday as I've been scared about bladder cancer and want some answers. Im scared the night sweats are also linked to a cancer diagnosis Sad can anyone help at all? Any reassurance or kind words much appreciated x

It’s good you’re going to be checked. In the meantime , try and bear in mind that it could be somthing benign like kidney stones.

I thought about kidney stones as well, caused some bleeding for me before.

Could be all sorts of things - I had / have the same and had all the various tests and it came back as thin membrane kidney disease - which sounds horrendous but it’s actually just a structural difference in the kidneys and doesn’t cause any issues except persistent blood in the urine. I’ve also got interstitial cystitis - this was confirmed by cystoscopy. (I’ve had this for years and years).

If you are suffering from menopausal related vaginal atrophy you need Ovestin (oestrogen cream) on prescription to use internally and externally.

Thankyou all. Desperately trying to keep positive. I know that the chances of bladder cancer are small in a 44 year old non smoking female. I guess I just want some answers as it seems such an alarming symptom. I've been researching but I can never fully fit into a box for self diagnosis Confused Google is a nightmare for the unexplained as it's always sinister results.

My own doctor is referring me to urology but only because I've pushed for it as they say they don't think it's necessary Hmm

My mum had bladder cancer and didn't have any symptoms at all. It was only spotted after moving doctors and the new surgery wanted all of us to give urine samples. They found a tiny amount of blood in her urine, it wasn't visible at all, they then treated her for a uti, but the blood persisted. It was then that they sent her for a scan and the cancer was discovered. It came back a year later and she was treated again, again absolutely no symptoms.

For anyone who finds this in time to come with the same question. Bladder cystoscopy was normal. My urologist this the blood has come from either an infection that hadn't shown up on tests, or issues with my coil.
