How long were in hospital for laporoscopy?

Hi... those who have had laporoscopy...(possible adhesions or endo) how long was your stay in the hospital?

@Somerandomgirl i was in for an anaesthetic last week. I just wore a long cardigan not a dressing gown as I don't own one, it's just to cover you whilst you walk from your room to the anaesthetic room. They take it off you and undo your gown the moment you get to the anesthetic room.

And I don't wear slippers but found a pair of free hotel slippers which I wore and were fine.

Just make sure your bum is covered. My gown was broken and didn't do up at all so I just pulled the cardigan tight!

1 - home at teatime.
2 - home next day at lunch.

Well! My experience was - quite quick, woke up from anaesthetic, they moved me to recovery and 2 hours after was home lol! Was so worried over nothing...now the bad bit - recovery after the surgery ... 😑

Glad it was quick. Make sure you keep dosed up on painkillers, I made sure I wrote down what times I was taking meds and set alarms for when next ones were due. First night was uncomfortable. Did they find anything during the op? Endo etc? X

Thank you x Need to wait for the letter with their findings, they said (while was still waking up which not good practice..) they found and removed adhesions and a cyst ..cyst is sent for tests so I'll update. Lets hope its not endo!
Been in horrible pain everyday for years, was thinking its endo and will be happy if its not. Had mirena fitted aswell while under ga ..see if pain goes away once healed from surgery... feel like crap today 😪

Should have been a day patient but they kept me in overnight as I kept being sick.

Didn't they give you anti sickness medicine, you poor thing
I felt awfully awfully sick when they woke me up aswell
