Please help a mummy out.
I think I have reaccuring thrush it'll clear up for a few weeks then it'll come back again. Alittle bit of back story,
I had my daughter 12 months ago, at 4 months post partum I noticed a bulge so I went to the doctors and they said I have a small prolapse so put a referral in to see a gynecologist, at that same GP appointment I mentioned the thrush issue and she just said its irritation took swabs all came back clear. Either sex (if its not slow enough) or my period triggers a flare up this has been happening for 8 months.
I finally saw the gynecologist which confirmed a small bladder prolapse but it's not bad enough for treatment was just told to carry on my pelvic floor but put me on a 2 week pathway for a appointment to have a hysteroscopy ( 2 endometrial biopsies and a coil will be fitted) due to incredibly heavy periods.
I have a few questions.
1.Will they be able to help or see why this recurring thrush (if it even is that) keeps coming back.
- I'm due on anywhere between today and the 4th of Feb (I have no warning with my period I just start flooding) and I can feel that I am at the start of another thrush flare up! So will they still go ahead with the hysteroscopy on the 7th of Feb if im still bleeding?
- Can I request numbing for this procedure as I'm pooping my pants thinking about it!
