Can you describe your prolapse please?
I have a lump that appears on the muscles at the opening (doesnt drop lower) it moves up, ive felt it and it starts just below my cervix, its squishy, soft and smooth and the lump moves.
Ive started taking photos when its at the entrance so i can see if theres any change
My GP said it was saggy muscles, but im going to see a women’s specialist in pelvic health physiotherapy to get a definite answer for a prolapse.

Hi. I just to answer to say that I really recommend seeing a pelvic floor physio if you are worried in anyway. I have struggled with stress incontinence since I had my son 11 years ago. The PFP is utterly wonderful. She can ‘feel’ what my pelvic floor is doing from outside my pants. I’ve had no internal examinations but am already improving from the exercises (not kegels).

Most importantly she really knows her stuff about prolapse. I was astounded by the percentage of post birth women who are likely to have one (well over 60% as far as I can remember) vs the number for whom it is problematic (3-5% I think). I have one but she’s really put my mind at ease and the work we’re doing together is helping my leaking issues so much already.
