Odd but very small lump(s) in breast, advice/experiences please? Feel like a fraud!

I regularly examine and noticed a tiny hard lump a couple of weeks ago. When I say tiny it is only the size of a pin head but very hard. I have quite ‘lumpy’ breasts but this sticks out and can be felt by just resting my finger in the area rather than pushing in. Next to that appears to be a (still very small) long hard lump but I am convinced now that has always been there. I have an appointment tomorrow as a straight referral so haven’t seen anyone yet, but I am really concerned I am wasting everyone’s time. I have been trying to find any information on line about what to do about lumps that are so small. Mainly the descriptions of breast lumps are pea or marble sized which definitely isn’t what I am feeling. I know I no one can tell me what is going on but is anyone aware of what such a small lump can be and will I be laughed out of the clinic for being way too cautious?

Stop being daft.. You're not being silly, you're not over reacting, and you're also not wasting anyones time nor will you be laughed out the clinic. Health professionals are there to make sure you're healthy and well. It's best to get these things checked out, instead of just thinking you're over reacting and wasting time, brushing them off as if it's probably nothing. Better safe than sorry! Try to relax and take your mind off until the appt, and hopefully by then you'll have more clarity. Xx

Apparently I have A Family Of Cysts! 3 little lumps as you describe.. Appointment took less than 2 hours as I saw first the Dr, then a scan, then a mammogram then back to the Dr. Results there and then and have forgotten they are there already.

No it needs checking. Could it be along milk ducts maybe? Inflammation maybe? Try not to worry but it needs a professional looking at it - good luck tomorrow
