So for a bout a week and a half I've had extreme comfort down there. No smell, no discharge just so itchy on the old vulva/vagina entrance. I don't really wanna waste doctor time so if there's anyone that's had this and will be able to recommend something I'd be so grateful. I've got vagasil in the purple tube which says ir helps with itching. It did help but it now not really helping. I'm 25, not menopausal. Thank you xx

Urgh, there's loads of things it could be! Double-check yourself for worms or crabs (sorry). Have you changed laundry detergent, shower gel, or are you using a different brand of panty liners?

You could try something like Eurax to soothe the itching, or get some hydrocortisone cream at the pharmacy.

Another thing to try might be Canesten cream - you can get thrush externally, and in that case there's no discharge.

Sounds like thrush if it's very itchy - you can buy the treatment at pharmacy or even a supermarket- you'd need the cream/pesssey for inside and the cream for outside (or you can get flucanazole oral tablet over the counter or GP)

Worth washing towels etc as it is able to spread

Go and see your doctor!
Go to a local walk in centre or sexual health clinic.

It could be an allergy to your detergent?
Is there any chance it could be an STI?
GP can take swabs to see what’s causing it.

I think in your circumstances I would start with a pharmacist- but likely they will want you to see a doctor. Still, they might have something for you to try, most likely thrush treatment. If they do say doctor, you could call 111. Otherwise look up locally to see if there us a Genitourinary medicine (GUM)/ sexual health clinic drop in.

I googled 'itchy vulva nhs' and there are various legit advice sheets that might suggest other things.
