Hello

I am 15 months post partum and still have aches and pains. Each day is different, some days are better than others. My pain started with my mid back which is now better but now my tailbone/glutes hurt. I can't sit for longer periods of time as my lower back hurts. Now my knee also hurts as I have overused it standing all the time. I have tried physio, massage, osteo, chiro.
Doctor told me to do a blood test and my thyroid and inflammatory markers are normal.
I am exclusively breastfeeding.

Please help. When does all this get better. Please let me know.

Thanks

See if there is anyone nearby who does Bowen technique. It's the only thing that has worked for me and it's cured my chronic sciatic pain and tail bone pain.
Sorry you're in so much pain and I hope you find help soon.
An anti inflammatory keto style diet helps me too. If I eat sugar or carbs I get aches and pains but they disappear when I'm keto.

Thank you for your reply. Never tried this technique. Will surely look into it.

Chronic pain is often caused by stress/emotional issues. I had back pain/neck pain that started when we were doing IVF 15 years ago before my first DD was born. It moved changed at various times and I had sciatica, general muscular pain etc. Had it for 10+ years and spent, quite literally, thousands, on pillows, mattresses, osteopath sessions, massage, chiropractor etc etc. I was utterly, utterly convinced there was something wrong with me.

Then I discovered an app called Curable and have been virtually pain free from about 6 weeks after that. I learnt what was causing the pain and more importantly how to deal with these 'mind/body issues'. Often childbirth and the pressure of raising a baby can be a trigger for people getting chronic pain.

I still get the odd flare up - usually when life gets stressful for one reason or another - (most people would talk about these flares as 'my back's gone out') but now I don't panic any more. As there's no fear around it, the flare up generally goes away within a few days. Look up the Curable app or read up on Mind/Body connection.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I do think all the time. Very hard to stop the thoughts. Is this app free to try. Good to know you feeling better now. God bless.
