vaginal swabs "likely normal" - what does this mean?

I have had breakthrough bleeding / bleeding after intercourse for a few years now. I had a scan back in 2019 and all was fine. No cause for bleeding was found. I then went back to the doctor a few weeks ago as things were still persisting. The doctor took some swabs, I was booked in for bloods and had a colposcopy last week. The colposcopy couldn't identify any problems and I was discharged from the service.

However, my swabs must've just come back and the surgery phoned me to make an appointment to speak with the GP for tomorrow. Apparently, the swabs came back as "likely normal" but I have no idea what this means. I last had a smear years ago (prob 2018) and haven't been called for one since. The colposcopist didn't do a smear as I said I was up-to-date, which is true, even though it's been years since the last one.

Does any one have experience of a "likely normal" vaginal swab? I'm trying to be positive and think maybe a slight infection? I have no symptoms of infection though...

Thank you!
