How does anyone manage perimenopause symptoms...??

My GP is utterly useless. I'm 43, my mum and two older sisters went through the menopause at 40, but the GP will not help until I'm 45.
It's so frustrating. My mood is the lowest its ever been and I'm REALLY struggling with body aches/agitation and anxiety. I've tried sooooo many herbal options and supplements - they don't even touch it.
One of my sisters (a nurse) is absolutely convinced I'm 'perimenopause'... but without help from my GP what can I do? I feel like I'm losing my mind!

Had similar recently and peri-menopause or ovulation pains were touted by the gp vaguely. They wanted to put me in the mini pill which I refused as hormones send me crazy.

Two recommendations.. a book called the female factor explores female anatomy and what we need to support changes throughout our lives. My radiologist recommended it when scans showed no issues. I turned to alternative therapies, been seeing a pranic healer.. I cannot tell you how much this has changed my life. For seven months I was in a mess for two weeks every cycle. Bed ridden with pain, can only liken my 4 weekly cycle to having every symptom of pregnancy and birth every month. Horrific. I'm 8 sessions and two cycles into the healing. No more pain, regular periods, and everything has gone back to normal hormonally. I was so desperate I would have tried anything, luckily pranic healing I found first time.

Regular Exercise worked wonders for me. I was 43 and putting on weight, anxious and getting achy/pains.
Started with baby steps and 5 years later it’s made a world of a difference. No more aches and pains, less anxious and better mood.

Go to a private clinic. Totally worth it.

Went private, asked for HRT.

I am 47 and have, for about five years, had those symptoms. Main issue for me was v low mood and crippling anxiety. Started HRT last week, absolute game changer for me. I feel so much better in such a short time. Sleeping properly, have a sense of perspective back. Go private if you can afford it, if your GP isn’t helpful. 45 is the age past which they seem to consider HRT.

Oh thank you so much...
I've considered going private, still looking into it. I'd love to get back into a regular exercise routine - really struggling to motivate myself with this, I used to love walking/hiking, but now find it quite boring. I'd love to start running, but absolutely no idea how I'd even start with that!
I'll look into that book, I'm more than happy to inform myself to gain some insight if possible.
I absolutely relate to essentially 'loosing' 2 weeks out of every month with hideous anxiety, depression, insomnia etc... I'll try anything as it really is having a very very negative affect on my life...
Thank you again all of you - appreciate it lots 🙏
