Liver enzymes raised

Hi all hoping someone could shed light on this for me as I’m 30 weeks pregnant and can’t sleep and eat with worry.
My husband was fluey and had night sweats for a week so I sent him for blood tests and they came back and said his red blood count was a little low and also his ALT serum (liver enzymes) was raised to 200 and normal range is up to 50.
when he had his bloods done obviously he had an infection and was unwell and fighting something off. He also showed the doctor his finger as it looked infected from possible wart/cut. He then put him on antibiotics.
he has repeat bloods Friday and we get results Monday so I’m hoping they have gone down however he is still being sent for a liver ultrasound anyway. Hoping this is just protocol?
the doctor mentioned lots of horrible things it could be but he is better now and showing no signs of these things. I’ve researched and said could be something like anemia or gallstones or even the infection/virus he had so I don’t know why he went straight to the worst case.
has anyone experienced this and can put my mind at ease until Monday? It’s such a long wait. And then we haven’t heard when ultrasound is yet either but should be next 2 weeks.
we were in our happy bubble with the new baby and now I feel rotten and can’t focus on anything. Xx

Easy for me to say I know, but try not to worry.
There was a post about raised LFTs a day or so ago that I commented on. Cutting a very long story short it would seem that in the absence of any other reason mine could have been caused by a long standing ingrowing toenail and the need for me to have several courses of antibiotics both before and after it was removed.
Not. long after the nail was taken off I had a bout of labyrinthitis that left me feeling and looking very poorly and it was then my raised LFTs came to light. Because they were worsening with each blood test I had I was referred for a whole barrage of tests and scans that found no obvious cause for the problems I was having and it was the consultant who performed the ultrasound of my liver (which looked perfectly OK) who mentioned that infection was often the cause of deranged LFTs
it took mine nearing. 12 months before they returned to more normal levels.
