I've been on the pill now for over 15 years came off it have my children. I don't want to keep taking it as surely it can't be good for you right?
Has anyone tried the natural contraception? I've been seeing some influencers advertising it where you buy a thermometer thing & it takes your temp every day & it gets to know your cycle & can tell you when to not have sex etc. just wondering if anyone has tried it or do you recommend it or not? Oh & my husband refuses to get the snip.

Its fine as long as you don’t mind getting pregnant.

It’s helpful, but not massively reliable.

I've used it. Been married 6 years and got just the 1 very much wanted child, although tbh my periods are like clockwork so I tend to chance it and go by cervical fluid rather than the more watertight temp+cervical fluid.
The hardest part for me is that for the temp bit - to be accurate it has to be taken at the same time each morning, 1st thing on waking up. Thats doable if you're up the same time every day but I'm shit at mornings so it just doesnt work. DH is out on the road 4 days a week so can be up at 4am or up at 7am so that doesnt work either.
Buy Taking Charge of Your Fertility book by Toni Weschler. Very informative.

I am mid 40’s and been on the pill for years and years. I have just started Natural Cycle, temperature taking and charting but using condoms until I am familiar with what my body is doing.
