Breast biopsy pain 2 months later

Hi I almost feel bad writing this thread, because my biopsy came back cancer free and I should feel so lucky ( I do) and not moan..
So I had biopsies taken in July for calcifications seen on mammogram. And titanium seed markers implanted.
I thought I'd healed well, all swelling pain and brushing gone after a month. However about week 4 the biopsy site got more and more painful. And the pain is definitely internal, I presume at biopsy site. So, if I press where the pain is , it's not tender to the touch , but this burning, stabbing ,throbbing pain is now pretty unbearable. Am certain not an infection, it just doesn't feel like that . It's been constant for 4 weeks now, and wakes me up at night. I'm taking painkillers but this just doesn't feel right. I know I will get fobbed off if I call GP, I know how overwhelmed primary and secondary NHS services are ( am a nurse) . I'm wondering if it's anything to do with the markets left in breast tissue ( all official data etc says absolutely no evidence they cause any probs if left in) Has anyone else experienced this, please?

Could you ring the breast care unit to ask for advice?

I agree. I had breast cancer, surgery, chemo the works.
Undoubtedly the biopsy was painful for a few weeks but I don’t think you should still be in quite so much pain. Don’t feel guilty, you have a genuine medical problem.
I would ring the breast clinic and ask if you can speak to a breast care nurse. Failing that see your GP.

I had something similar over 10 years ago, although not the titanium markers, I had a mammogram guided wire put in so that the surgeon could find what needed to be excised and tested. I too was lucky, it was an haemangioma. I felt like I'd been kicked by an elephant the next day but for a long time after I felt what I can only describe as a feeling like a piece of billo pad was inside me. I kind of presumed it was internal stitches dissolving but even now if I press on the site it is slightly tender/bruised feeling.
