Anyone know about vaginal prolapse ?

So a month ago I noticed a lump/fleshy thing down below and was kinder worried so went to docs, anyway she done an examination and said it was all normal and it could be the start of a prolapse but if I do pelvic floors should be fine! Anyway month down the line it feels very strange again like a lump and I'm panicking again 🤦🏻‍♀️ so thinking of booking another GP app. ( I suffer with health anxiety) it feels like there is a lump at the top and a lump at the bottom of the whole if that makes sense (sorry for TMI) hate this sort of stuff but feel like I need advice. Anyone else had this/got this? Please reassure me 😩

POP comes in different grades and lots of women have low grade prolapse without even knowing.

Do you have any prolapse symptoms? (Urinary or bowel symptoms, pain). Or is it just you can feel a lump?

It's like 2 fleshy lumps i can feel, no other symptoms (I don't think) 🫤

If you have no symptoms I wouldn't worry too much, especially if you've been checked and told it's normal. Mild POP is very common, lots of women have them and don't even know. Anything serious will come with symptoms. It won't go unnoticed believe me.

Did you know that your cervix moves during your monthly cycle - it rises around ovulation and lowers towards your period. So your anatomy down there may feel different at different times of the month.

If you're worried you could see the GP again but if I were you I would stop checking.

I have a vaginal prolapse. It feels like I'm wearing a tampon that is falling out and needs pushing back in. Sorry but that's the best way I can describe it. It's not there all the time but it's worse if I've been on my feet a lot or lifting things. As PP said, there are degrees of prolapse. When I saw a gynecologist she didn't seem concerned about it and said that as I was mid 40s and I'd had 2 natural births it was very normal to have some degree of prolapse. If it's not bothering you then I wouldn't worry about it; just keep doing your pelvic floor exercises.

Thank you all for replying, yes maybe I am worrying too much and keep checking (I know I shouldn't) health anxiety is hard! I am only 34 but do have 3 children, 11,7 and 2 🤷🏻‍♀️
