What does this sound like to you?

Hi
Please can I ask what this sounds like to you?

Early May I lost by son, at 19 weeks.

About 1.5 weeks after delivery I started with what felt to me like period pain. My bereavement midwife who, was there when he was delivered said there would be no retained products. I've since had two periods so I think she's right. However every day since mid- May I've had a bit of "period" pain, to varying degrees at least at one point or more during each day.

My cycle this month was 26 days. The period itself was a little more painful and a little heavier than usual but I was able to keep functioning with paracetamol. Ovulation was unusually painful.

I've also started with heartburn in the last fortnight which is unusual for me (I thought I was pregnant as that's the only other time I've had heartburn, but sadly no).

Any thoughts on the daily "period" pain?

Thanks in advance.

I’m very sorry to hear about your son, what an awful thing to go through.

Have you had anything checked since then? I’d possibly be asking for an ultrasound or something to check there’s nothing underlying going on such as ovarian cysts etc.

Thanks @AGreatUsername . It's nice to get a reply. Can cysts come on after delivery? I feel it is probably related due to the timings. I've sent a message to my gp practice today. I'm worried it is endometriosis but I don't know if that comes on like this. I definitely think it needs looking at. I'll look into ovarian cysts thank you
