Period delay tablets? Do they work ?

I'm going on holiday in November.
Of course my period lands whilst I'm away.
If I take the period delay tablets to delay October's period ...will that mean November's period will be later than it should be?

Going on holiday on the 5th of August and I’ve had northisterone prescribed to delay my period. I’m 43 but my periods are still regular. Just wondered if anyone has a positive experience recently with these tablets? Due to take them on Wednesday, period would have been due next Sat/Sun x
