CIN 1 and new pregnancy

Hello I am seeking any advice. Last March I had a smear with CIN 1 and hpv positive result. This was confirmed by biopsy. I am due follow up in March and have just found out I am 5 weeks pregnant. I went to the GP a few months ago due to bleeding after sex (very very slight). I don’t know what to do or what will happen. I don’t want to leave it. I have two older kids I need to be here and healthy for. I would consider termination if there was anything sinister found. This is a time sensitive situation and no one will help. I am waiting on colposcopy appointment which will take weeks!!! I cannot either be happy or prepare for the worse as I don’t know where I am what’s going on down there and I am having a meltdown about the whole situation!! Please help

Is there more to this? CIN1 is very rarely treated and will usually be monitored for 12 months as can normalise. I don't think it's anything to panic about.

Sorry missed the last March bit. Don't think mumsnet is the place for this kind of advice. Your gp is likely to be able to advise. Even with CIN2 it's unlikely you'll be in need of urgent treatment within the next 8 months.

I have asked GP to redirected me to maternity who haven’t answered phone or replies to message yet. Sad it’s just a very complicated time and i don’t know how to feel about it.

I don't think you need to prepare for the worst. You had CIN1 which really, really is not a big deal if monitored. You are going to your appointments and it won't have turned in to cervical cancer in that time. Possibly CIN2 which they can monitor but you don't know that yet. I had CIN2 and the cells were removed but by no means quickly. What is this worst case scenario you're talking about? You mention needing to be happy and healthy for your children, which implies you think something drastic is going to happen?

Can I ask how this turned out @Harveysmum91 ?
