Bulky Uterus ?

Hi everyone,
I had a pelvic ultrasound before Christmas due to a bit of bloating and urine issues.
Ive had a call today from the Gp saying that they have found a small issue and that is a Bulky Uterus and no fibroids.
She continued to say that it shouldn't be a cause for concern but that time will tell.. she didn't sound too convincing and I'm feeling a little concerned.
Has anyone experienced a bulky Uterus?
Should I be pushing for more testing?
Thanks in advance

Mine is bulky, discovered when I had an endometrial ablation. I decided to view it as a good thing, the way that men would (I imagine) view having a massive penis. I don’t know if it caused any issues. I got pregnant 3 times easily & went to full term each time.

Thanks for replying and making me smile Smilewhen you put it like that it definitely doesn't sound too bad.

Bulky uterus is usually adenomyosis. That's what I was diagnosed with.

Sane as tootsie. Only diagnosed after my hysterectomy, but explained a lot that had happened before it.

I've also been diagnosed with the same thing and told it's adenomyosis. I was put into false menopause for 6 months with monthly injections of decapeptyl and hrt. This was to rest the womb as it was growing too big and bulky. I was then put into cerazette which has controlled it amazingly well for a few years but is now not controlling it as well . The next step is hysterectomy for me but I've put it off for the time being.

My GP couldn't fit my coil last time, so I was referred to gynae. They fitted the coil using ultrasound and they noted that I had a bulky uterus. Mine was around double the usual size and explained the years of horrendous bleeding I'd always had, hence the Mirena coil.

Thankfully that keeps the worst of it at bay.

Thanks for your replies ladies. I didn't realise it
Was such a common thing, the dr made it sound a little concerning.
Im relieved to hear it is more common than i assumed.
