Wow! I've found this podcast today.
About the ridiculous lies we are sold in our society about thinness being the ultimate goal.
It's really worth a listen to reframe the way we look at our body & what's healthy:

Should say it's by a female Doctor. Really interesting. Give it a listen if you are unhappy with your body. It really helps put life in perspective.

Has anyone else listened to this? What do you think?

Love being slim, feel so healthy.

Can't get the link to play but I've not got Spotify. (Shock)

However...when I was overweight @ a BMI of 27 my body analyser said I was 40% fat. I suffered from sciatica and later got breast cancer (often linked to too much body fat). Since then have lost 4 stone to a BMI of 18.6. I run every day and go on walks and do resistance exercises. I do look better and feel stronger and am much more flexible. My back rarely hurts now. I am the same size and weight at nearly 50 as I was when I was 16.

I do feel better.

I was slim as a young mum, got larger in my 50s and have slimmed down again now in my sixties. I love being fit and healthy, sleeping well, being able to run around after my DGC and knowing that I am giving myself the best chance of an active and long old age.
