Last month, a few days before my period, I had one day of greeny/white lumpy vaginal discharge.
Now I've had thrush before and it looked a little like it but I had no other symptoms like itching, burning or pain. The discharge didn't smell offensive either so I decided at the time to leave it and see how it was the next day. The next day it had gone completely, and I started my period a couple of days after. All fine, normal.
Today, the same thing has happened. I noticed a few little lumps on a tissue, had a bit of a closer inspection iykwim.
Again no smell, no other symptoms. I'm due my period next week.

I believe I'm peri menopausal (47) and I have been for 3/4 years. On and off symptoms, light periods but I've always been fairly light. Lasting longer, sometimes 10 days.
Mood affected, weight gain, breast tenderness, lethargy, insomnia..... you name it I seem to have had it. Pretty much all these symptoms are transient and vary greatly from one month to the next.
I had never suffered with my periods prior to this, as I said always light, never any pain.
I use condoms when having sex with my husband, and 2 or 3 times in the last year have bled lightly after (more pinkish discharge) but it's not every time.

I'm a bit flummoxed really, is this also part of peri? Whats the likelihood I do have thrush or an infection? Again I'm going to see if it persists and act accordingly but I'd quite like a range of opinions.

Gosh I've no idea?

You should see your GP about the bleeding though as this should always be investigated.

Also, you may get more replies in the General Health board as it seems to get more traffic.
