Hi all, I am a first time mummy to a 4 month old baby and my bleeding is all over the place (regular before having baby) I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar? I have been keeping a bleeding pattern below:

Bled for 5-6 weeks post partum, as expected.
Began bleeding again @ 9weeks and started taking cerelle pill (I can't take mini pill due to migraines)
Bled until week 12 and stopped for 1 week.
Started bleeding light again from week 13
Week 15 (Thursday 1st July) stopped bleeding for 1 day!!
🙄 Friday 2nd July started bleeding again like a proper period.
11th July stopped (for 4 days)
15th July started bleeding again light
17th July came red again, heavier flow for 4-5 days then slowed down to light flow.
26th July started bleeding red again. (I'm now 19 weeks postpartum)

It seems never ending. I have been told the pill can cause breakthrough bleeding however I've been on this sort of pill before for years and it actually completely stopped my periods before, as did the depo injection too!

Does anyone have any tips on how I can stop this 'breakthrough bleeding'?

Since having DS, myself and DH have had sex only once!! (This was around 10 weeks postpartum) and it's starting to really grate on us both now 🙁

My mistake - we had sex when I was around 8 weeks postpartum. This was before I started bleeding again during week 9 postpartum*
