Cleavage and underboob rash!

I have the most unbearably itchy rash right between my boobs and also underneath on one side. It's not so itchy underneath just red but the cleavage one is really dry and flaky and itchy.
It's only come about in the heat, then went away when I was at home braless for a few days then has come back today since I've been out wearing a bra. My boobs are much bigger this year due to breastfeeding.
Is this heat rash or something? How do I stop it?!

Probably the heat and sweating more than usual. Bit of talc and fresh air may help. If it doesn't go away maybe get checked out as could possibly be thrush.

KarlMaldensNose · 22/07/2021 20:04

It may be thrush/fungal, it’s quite hot weather
In the meantime, Have you tried some antibacterial talcum like cuticura?

Scones13 · 22/07/2021 20:05

I am large busted and often get sore red rash under bust especially when hot. Find talc after shower help to stop the sweating and sudocrem if sore.

KarlMaldensNose · 22/07/2021 20:06

Actually it says ‘medicated’ talc not antibacterial
It is quite effective though
Hope you feel more comfortable soon OP

Try some coconut oil on it before bed for a few days.

Fleetw00d · 22/07/2021 20:13

Thanks all I've just put Sudocreme on it and omg the relief haha! I thought I was going to scratch the skin off.
The perils of big boobs ey!

Sudocrem should work - also if you have skin on skin when you lie down overnight, put a soft cloth between your boob and your ribs.

I have this. It could quickly turn into a fungal infection so get some anti fungal cream - the chemist will help you get the right one.
Make sure your bra actually separates your breasts and also goes totally underneath - not trapping some breast against the rib cage. Wear a clean bra every day. Wear one of those pull on soft bras at night - keeps them from rubbing together.

This is a massive issue for me, all year round.

I've had allergic reactions to some of the things people suggest. I also used talc religiously only to discover it made things worse - I ended up with a nasty fungal infection.

I have washable wipes bought from MardyBumBoutique (facebook, insta etc) which you can also buy from other people, which I place under my boobs, between them and my ribs. Because this tends to prevent the issue occurring, and also helps to stop the sweating to turn very sour and pungent from having too much skin on skin.

Keeping under and between the boobs clean and dry, using bar soap as opposed to shower gel, also helps. Try not to rub all manner of products on.

I've had to use canesten cream under there before.

Tinkerbellfluffyboots79 · 22/07/2021 21:17

I get this really badly a lot of the time. Keep them clean and dry and tbh I use folded mini tena lady under them - in my bra to keep them from touching skin and helps dry them out a bit and heal as the sweat is soaked into the pad and the coating makes sure nothing sticks. Can’t stand Sudo crem so just do that.

I got this last year. Canesten athletes foot cream sorted it right out.
