Has anyone tried these and would be happy to recommend any?
I'm perimenopause and experience 'flooding' so feel I could benefit from these.

My daughters bought wuka pants. They are great even for heavy bleeding

SanFranBear · 14/07/2021 09:39

DD has some Modi Bodi ones and a couple of the new Bodyform ones as she was caught short (she's only 12, so seemed an easy and practical solution whilst she gets to grips with other options) and they're great. Modi Bodi are probably higher quality but the Bodyform ones are really soft.

Would definitely recommend!

HoliHormonalTigerlilly · 18/07/2021 07:49

They are amazing.

DinosaurDiana · 18/07/2021 07:52

Has anyone found ones where the absorbent bit goes from the front waistband all the way under and up to the back waistband ?
I don’t t want to leak in bed.

dollophead · 18/07/2021 07:52

I would say you get what you pay for. DD has Wuka, Modibodi, Sainsburys & M&S and the most expensive ones (esp Wuka) are the best. Although they do take an age to dry!!

SanFranBear · 18/07/2021 14:13

Dinosaur - Modi Bodi do some that are like shorts so think they have quite a large pad... not sure if they go right to the waistband though.

Take a look at cheeky wipes ones, great quality and often bogof offers on some styles

TableNiner · 18/07/2021 23:22

I’ve got these

They make me feel very secure but wouldn’t use them without my cup too.

HPandTheNeverEndingBedtime · 18/07/2021 23:22

2nd vote for cheeky wipes, UK brand often have offers and cheaper than the American brands. DD and I both wear them and never had a problem, although I double up if wearing all day at work on heavier days. Downside less choice of colours and patterns if that's your kind of thing.

Thehogfatherstolemycurry · 18/07/2021 23:25

Dd has cheeky wipes ones, she loves them. She's tried the cheaper brands but they're not as absorbent.
They often have offers on, worth looking out for.

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/07/2021 22:23

Have you asked the dr about the flooding? I’m sure there’s a medication they can prescribe that’s also used on trauma victims to stem blood flow from wounds.

RoseAddict · 19/07/2021 22:26

Thinx absorbent bit go all the way from the waistband like you want @DinosaurDiana

NannyR · 19/07/2021 22:27

I really like the cheeky wipes ones but I haven't tried any others to compare. I opted for these as they were a fair bit cheaper than other brands, they were on special offer and you can return them for a refund if you don't like them.

Neighneigh · 19/07/2021 22:31

I've had cheeky wipes pants for a year and really rate them, even been on long ish runs on my period and was really impressed. But I do find them a bit sweaty at night (although I am just generally....sweaty at night, gross) anyway so I recently bought some from Bamboo House the-bamboo-house.co.uk/ and just spent the 27° night in them and really, really rate them. You get discounts if you sign up to their emails etc and I missed a code but they refunded me the difference.

On lighter days I prefer reusable pads and really like Lady Days which are made in Yorkshire

paddler78 · 19/07/2021 22:43

Another vote for cheeky wipes pants - amazing!

I’m getting a coil fitted, hopefully that will stop it.

Thanks, I’ll have a look.
BunnyRuddington · 20/07/2021 14:17

DD is like me in that she's very heavy. She has Modibodi and I've recently bought her some Primark ones for her lighter days after reading a review from another MNer.

The best thing I've ever found for flooding though is the Mirena Coil. I've gone from using pads and tampons and at times changing both every hour to just using panty liners. It really has been life changing Smile
