Refused dye test during laproscopy

I had a laproscopy yesterday and was told they would do a dye test. In fact that's what I needed as I'm trying to get pregnant. The IVF doctor suggested I get that done since I'm having a l done for investigation of endo. I cant do smears as I rin off screaming so she said this was a good opportunity. I saw my discharge notes yesterday and realised no dye test was done. Now no surgeon speok to me when they discharge me because the original surgeon passed me to another and everyone had gone hone by the time they finished with me. They will ring me later today but I'm going mad with worrying about why.

Has this happened to anyone else, please share any reasons why. I feel heart broken as I thought this could be the missing link to having a baby. I have a tilted uterus which could be another reason

What other tests have you had done to date?.

I do not think there is much you can do apart from wait for them to phone you. If this procedure was done in a NHS hospital I would be contacting PALS.

A tilted uterus should not interfere with your ability to conceive. In most women, the uterus tips forward at the cervix. About 1 in 4 women, however, has a uterus that tilts backward at the cervix. In the past, doctors thought that a tilted uterus might have contributed to infertility. But experts now know that the position of the uterus doesn't affect the ability of sperm to reach an egg.

Hello. Thank you Atilla! Well they rang me and told me they suspected something that looked like tuberculosis of the womb. So they didnt want to flush my tubes and spread the infection. I'm just bamboozled. But alot of chest symptoms are making sense now.
