I am intersex, complex issues, and have had various "corrective" surgeries since age 9.
now in 40's am facing options as body has changed, and endometriosis has set in.
I won't bore you with the surgical options, but now facing, a procedure that will include labiaplasty,. the surgeon is giving me options, and i am wary that the labia primary use is to protect vagina from infections, so concerned that the result will a) be neat, as others have stated, with minimal labia, but b) enough cover to protect vagina.
I guess I have had enough of abnormal genitalia, and a smooth option is something I would feel easier with.
It is part of a NHS procedure, yes guess I am lucky, as many would have to pay for such surgery.
I live as male, - complex history, but accept this was always inevitable. Have lost my "micro penis" - no larger than an enlarged clitoris. & my one functional testes. {orchiectomy was sept 2020}
Uterus still intact, with endo issues.
basically "more or less"? to be blunt, less seems obvious, but fully aware you can't replace tissue once gone.. so has to be right first time. Any one with any experience and words of caution, .. thanks
