Breast lift

I would be interested in some advice if anyone can help! I have lost 26kg in the last 10 months with around another 8-10kg to go. (I am 5ft10). When I put on the weight my boobs got really really big and bizarrely they have been the slowest part of me to get slimmer! I am now roughly a 40D (having been at my slimmest a 36C) so I expect that to in reality go down to a 38 something as it were.

My breasts still have fullness but have dropped and I am considering a breast lift. I am only just starting to look into this so was wondering if anyone has had this done? Any positives or negatives from the experience, any advice on surgeons (I am London based) or any general advice/information?

I am 52 and feeling the best I have in a long time and if I don’t have this done I will be fine but I’d love to be the best version of me I can be so any comments/advice would be much appreciated.

i had a mastoplexy (breast lift) at the age of 60. weight gain and loss left them sagging significantly.
i'm not in the uk so can't offer you advice on that aspect BUT it was the best decision ever.
day surgery, pain free thanks to long acting freezing. fully recovered faster than expected.

Thanks so much for your message. Good to hear you had a good experience!

If you don’t mind me asking where are you based and what did it cost where you are?

Also interesting as my sister has been booked in twice for a tummy tuck both cancelled due to covid. She is shorter than me and has lost 50kg so has been left with a lot of skin that needs removing but she is now also considered a boob job although for her she would need implants too as she has lost fullness whereas I haven’t.

After breastfeeding the babies my boobs were saggy too and I had a breast lift with implants about 6 months ago in London, cost 7k. They asked for a covid test and 7 days isolation before the surgery. Probably without implants will cost less. I'm really happy with the result, they used the lollipop method instead of anchor method so I only have scar around the nipple and down from that and not in the fold underneath. It's still big but the scar doesn't concern me as I'm really happy with the overall look.

I’m in Canada and paid privately and can’t remember the cost.
Yes, with the breasts reduced the belly bulge becomes much more obvious and I’m tackling that beast as we speak. A friend 65, booked her breast reduction with a tummy tuck.
It’s nearing 2-3 years ago now and 80% of the scar is very well faded.
